Gelita is used in households for cooking but also in bakeries, pastry shops, catering, butcher’s, and for other non-industrial applications. Leaf gelatin is easy to use, it is easily portioned according to the recipe. Leaf gelatin is a special form of gelatin. It’s form and pattern are delivered from a special products process. A concentrated solution of gelatin is spread on to the surface of a cooled stainless steel drum, where it rapidly gels. The gelatin is then cut into long strips, placed on a net and passed through a dryer. On leaving the dryer the strips are cut into appropriate sizes and packed.
